Parking in Hong Kong is completely different from foreign countries. Do not park your car on streets like what you do in your country.
On-street parking spaces are provided where they do not obstruct traffic. Where there are limited spaces and a high demand, they are metered to deter prolonged parking. Most of the metered parking spaces are available from 8 am to midnight on weekdays, and from 10 am to 10 pm on Sundays and public holidays. It costs HK$2 per 15 minutes.
All metered parking spaces in Hong Kong are now operated with Octopus card parking meters.
In Stanley, you could find most metered parking spaces around Stanley Beach, however there are only about 40-50 parking spaces.
Alternatively, you can also find parking arcade in Stanley Plaza, there are about 410 paid parking spaces. However parking spaces available for hourly paid parking would be limited.
